How We Help
How We Help starts off with part of our Mission being accomplished right here. Our Banner picture shows several Hooks High School AG students loading their processed meat into our vehicle to be delivered to a local food bank!
Hooks High School teaches students to learn meat processing right on campus. How awesome is that?? These students are learning a valuable trade for when they graduate. The meat they process for us goes directly to our various food banks that we help!! That's a win-win for everyone!!

The Ranchers Table’s Mission is a passion of mine. When God speaks to someone and they listen, great things can happen. The Hub @ 212 has been a family home for almost eighty years. My grandparents built their small home from the ground up starting 75 years ago. Over the years it has been added onto many times over. My grandfather prayed over the land daily, he walked the property daily and prayed for his growing family and for the land every day.
My grandfather being one of fourteen, my grandmother being one of ten, often, being every single weekend The Hub @ 212 was jam packed with family and friends. Prior to the Park across the street (Hobo Jungle now Erma Pondexter) there were always Hobo’s that jumped on and off the train two blocks away. The park property now previously was a wooded area that every day accommodated a Hobo. The neighborhood knew if they were hungry, word of mouth was the house on the corner would give you something to eat. My husband and I decided to purchase the house on the corner. Later, I named The Hub @ 212, for ALL the reasons.
Finding myself living in the neighborhood, College Hill, I truly am a patron of my surroundings. My husband and myself support the surrounding stores in the neighborhood. Back to understanding my love language, cooking and feeding and helping others in need is my heart. The Ranchers Table is a non-profit organization that helps provide meat for the table. So many times the protein and the meat is simply not affordable. As part of the Ranchers Table’s mission, I am Grateful and Blessed to be a part of their mission. Thank YOU for allowing me to help with the hands and feet.
The meat is a great start to building meals, routinely I prepare the meals as well as provide meat when available. There are so many other hidden charges, simply supplying the To-Go containers and other ingredients to go along with the meat.
God will provide, he Always does.
Thank YOU for YOUR supporting God’s plans to feed those in need. Love, Rene’e Mauk (Nay-Nay)
